1 Corinthians 10[3]  And did all eat the same spiritual meat; [4]  And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Paul wrote to the Corinthians and spoke of the shadow of what we now see as God’s way.  The meat of the children is God’s word…the same irrespective of race, tribe, status or age…they also drank the same drink…the drink for the Christian in all continents, ages or situations is also the same.  Be careful of new revelations/variations that appeal to certain situations and will not apply in others…

If the meat is the word of God …what is the drink?  We learn that the drink is from a spiritual Rock that follows…  I learn from the experience of the Israelites that they cried for water in Exodus 17 [6]  Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

This rock was moving…a miracle…otherwise it could not have been a continued source of water all through their wanderings…the rock followed them…a shadow of Jesus Christ that is with us in all our journeys… Click for more
