As you enjoy these online devotionals, apply these basic pointers. Hearing by listening to messages, VCDs, audio/video. Reading the word is an important way of knowing God. Studying is to work at what we read with the purpose of understanding, retaining and utilizing the information. Memorizing is done by reading aloud to yourself and reciting the phrases one at a time until the entire verse is committed to memory. Meditating is to digest God’s word by moving the word from your head to your heart, making it a permanent part of your life.
